The concepts of human resource management in the enterprise

Human capital is the most important of the capital which company could have. Adequate human resources management in company can bring big profits and contribute to its development. In the scientific literature there are two popular concepts of human resource management: a model of Michigan and Harvard model.

Michigan Model

It is a model that assumes that human resources management should be compatible with the strategic objectives of the company. Workers on the job should have the appropriate level of competence, knowledge and skills.

Harvard Model

The Harvard model of human resource management should focus first and foremost on creating employee engagement, develop their competence, resolve potential conflicts and secure working conditions that will increase the efficiency of employees.
